I'm very surprised that there isn't more software out there for the Mac considering they're so widely used by 'creative types.' I seem to be getting nowhere with Googling for things though.

I'm sorry, I made a not-smart error. The Terminal code you supplied earlier did work to identify the Moonlite and, when coped and pasted into INDI Control panel, I was able to successfully connect and control the focuser. Most excellent! Anyway, I am not using anything in between the Moonlite controller and the computer, just a USB cord. When I try to connect using INDI Control Panel, the port selected is the default, /dev/ttyUSB0. The error message when trying to connect is: "Moonlite: failed to connect to port /dev/ttyUSB0. Error: Port failure:No such file or directory. Check if device is connected to this port." the command line looks like: It's been a good three years now since I swapped my HP laptop for a Macbook Pro. In the mean time, I've started doing a bit more astrophotography and of course the change of operating system has affected the tools I use to obtain and process photos. Amateur astronomers have traditionally mostly used Windows, so there are a lot of Windows tools, both freeware and payware, to help.
